While the Animal Farm Collection personifies my desire to create fashion jewelry inspired by my love of the shapes of animals and insects – the Animus Collection is all about statement pieces. Like most of my jewelry the different collections are born from my strong desire to wear pieces that I can’t find anywhere else. What usually ends up happening is that people see these pieces on me, and ask me to make them one. Animus is really where it all started for me, and how people became aware of my work. Each piece truly has a story, from my pet scorpion who hung hard with me for couple of years, to lizards I found in my mother’s back yard, to the classic ram heads my ol’ man you used to sport when he was running around, it’s all here… for you to wear.
